Interview with Explode

1.            When did you decide that you wanted to start writing?

After reading so many wonderful stories on Wattpad. I was a silent reader for years but then one day I was like, I want to give it a spin and so I did.

2.            What is your writing process?

I don’t really have one. I just open up my laptop and then my iTunes, followed by word and yeah go from there. A lot my chapters are usually influenced by the music I am listening too at the time.

3.            Do you plan out your books, or just go with the flow?

All with the flow. I have a rough idea where I want my story to end up and all the big scenes and twists I do have planned, but when it comes writing the in-between bits and the parts that lead up to it, I go with the flow. A lot of my scenes and chapters just flow out when I am writing. For example in my story Royal Blood & One Commitment, I never had planned Isabella’s trip to her sisters, that just happened. I also never planned for Isabella to be hurt by a freedom fighter that too just happened.

4.            Do you have a specific writing style?

My writing style is raw and rough, no other way to put it. I have a lot of work to do on it and compared to a lot of other writers on wattpad my style is really bad.

5.            Are experiences based on someone you know, or events in your own life?

No, I don’t have any experiences that I base my writing on. I wish though!

6.            Do you see writing as a career?

I would love for writing to be a career but I do not think I am good enough to be one. But I think it would be amazing to be one! I am jealous of those who are.

7.            Which of your characters is your favourite?

Connor from Royal Blood and One Commitment, Cameron from St Slay and Cole from Tattooed love. Those boys are my top three!

8.            What was the hardest part to write in your novels?

Kissing scenes are the hardest, I find it very hard to describe a kiss, so I end up describing the feeling you get form a kiss. It’s funny I am twenty years old and I cannot write a kiss right.

9.            Have you got any up-and-coming novels that you are planning?

I have two, which I will most likely not post up for a while. Because I have so many already up and I don’t want to over pressure my fans to read them. So both are like a secret project I love to work on. I write on both here and there when I get writers block on a story.

10.          How personal is your writing?

Every story is like a piece of my imagination, so my writing is very personally. The contents is pure fiction but still my stories are like a piece of my mind and I love sharing them. I don’t have any personally aspects which reflect in my stories, apart from Tattooed Love. The main character (Jax) his tattoos are based around my boyfriends.

11.          If you could work with any author who would it be?

I don’t know. I don’t really have any famous published authors I would want to work with. But I love Lilly Rain so I would choose her.

12.          How did you come up with the titles?

All just on the spot, I didn’t really put much thought into them and were inspired by anything really.

13.          Do you have any advice for other writers?

Just write because you want to! Don’t write to get popular and don’t write for votes. Because if you are doing that you are missing the point of writing and I think you will lose interest in it. A lot of writers on wattpad only write for notice and when they don’t receive it they give up.

14.          If you could have a meal with any of your characters, where would you take them and who would you take?

Connor and it would be the beach, so he has to have his shirt off. 😉

15.          What was the funniest thing you have ever experienced?

I can’t really think of one. Sorry!

16.          If you could meet anyone (dead or alive) who would it be and why?

James Hetfield, lead singer of Metallica. I would die to meet him!

17.          What are 3 things that you would like to do before you die?

1. Travel Australia.

2. Ride a Horse

3. Own a pair of Jimmy Choo (real ones) =)

18.          What’s the most embarrassing thing that you’ve ever experienced?

The other weekend I went out to the clubs with my friends. Everything was awesome, until I spotted a familiar head in the crowd, so I went up to him and I was talking to him like normal. Then he disappeared and I kept dancing with my friends. Anyway like an hour or so later, one of my mates come up to me and said there was a guy waiting in the smokers room for me, and she had put in a ‘good’ word for me. I was like ok, strange but I went with it. Anyway I went out there and the guy I was talking to earlier was standing there with a complete terrified look on his face. I was like what’s wrong.  And then he said my mate had gone up to him and told him I thought he was so hot and I wanted to get ‘lucky’ with him later.  That guy just happened to be my younger brother. Needless to say, we were both scared for the rest of the night.

19.          Can you tell us some fun facts about you?

Sure I can give you ten!

1. I love McLeods Daughters.

2. I have an addiction to skittles.

3. I am an Essendon supporter.

4. I drive a commodore, VX.

5. I live between two houses.

6. I have two brothers and one sister. My sister is ten years older than me, my older brother is 8 years old and my other brother is two years younger.

7. I always have late fees at blockbuster, my fees got so bad my boyfriend cut my card up and I was black listed at the store! It wasn’t my fault I just forgot to take it back! He brought me an apple box so now I never have to worry about late fees again.

8. I get so excited over comments! That it is most likely unhealthy.

9. I have two dermals and one got ripped out the other day. I was so upset and it wasn’t the pain factor it was the fact I have to wait for it to heal over before I can get it reinserted, which will be like 3 months.

10.  I have a habit of losing things, like tv remotes (especially the backs), my phone, anything of any importance’s and oh DVDS! I always lose the dvd and only have the cover.

I want to go to Italy, jump out of a plane and ride in a hot air balloon with my boyfriend.

Interview with peanutty11

1.            When did you decide that you wanted to start writing?

This one time at band camp..lol… I’ve written poetry since 6th grade when paper was the only way i could express my pain. Story wise though..lol last year when I had this wicked idea about a kick @$$ girl.

2.            What is your writing process?

I don’t really have writing process.I just write *shrug*

A little of both, the plot, beginning, ending, and climax are planned but I go with the flow as my characters get to those certain points.

4.            Do you have a specific writing style?

Does third person count as a style? People say they like my style but since I’m a new writer I have no idea what style that is. Could my style be borderline mature? Something I hope people of all ages can enjoy? lol

5.            Are experiences based on someone you know, or events in your own life?

Yes to Summer Love but the only thing I can relate to with the Heir is heartbreak 😦 lol

6.            Do you see writing as a career?

 Nah writing isn’t for me.

7.            Which of your characters is your favourite?

All characters are my favourites because they all have a piece of me…

8.            What was the hardest part to write in your novels?

The beginning because I try hard to write a unique first chap that pulls the reader in and its a nail biter wondering if people will like it enough to keep going.

9.            Have you got any up-and-coming novels that you are planning?

Yes 🙂 The follow ups to the Heir. They will be named “The scorned mate”-Matt and Sarahs’ story. Then there’s Dani and Christians “The unwanted Mate” and Axel’s Story “The cursed Mate”

10.          How personal is your writing?

Depends on what personal we are talking about. But, yeah, I guess you could say yes its very personal.

11.          If you could work with any author who would it be?

Oh man, I can’t pick one author can I pick a publishing house? lol oh man I can’t pick one publishing house! I guess I’ll say Nora Roberts since it was one of her stories that got me into romance publishing house wise..Harlequin..romance central! *sigh*

12.          How did you come up with the titles?

Thought about the plot and then summed it up in a couple of words.

13.          Do you have any advice for other writers?

I’m not a pro so I’ll just say “just write from the heart. Write because you love to. Write a story because it won’t leave you alone. Don’t write to be popular around here and if you do start a story give it an ending so you’ll know what to strive for-less chance of quitting half way IMHO”

14.          If you could have a meal with any of your characters, where would you take them and who would you take?

Dang it! I feel like a poacher taking out the guys cause they all have girls…LOL… I can’t believe I’m thinking about not dating my imaginary characters cause of their imaginary GFs..I hope my hubby never sees this…If not grounds for a divorce definitely grounds for a return trip to the loony bin!

15.          What was the funniest thing you have ever experienced?

This one time..At band camp of course lol…My whole life is a circus but the most recent thing..I was chatting with my little sister…I practically raised her, don’t ask me cause I don’t know why but she is always flashing me …well we were video chatting and she just boom! flashed me…but she didn’t know that my hubby was out  of view watching…LMAO!!! When she hears “WTH?!” …LOL she was so red!! I think my lil sis learned her lesson…

 Tossup between Bella or Jacob

19.          What’s the most embarrassing thing that you’ve ever experienced?

I’m a goofball I’m always embarrassing myself so nothing has really been etched in my mind it’s all just another ordinary day in my life..lol ok how about the time at the pharmacy that while waiting in line my kid grabbed some female hygiene stuff and said “here are your diapers mom”…loud enough for everyone around to hear *blushing* I wanted to roast that Peanut! lol

20.          Can you tell us some fun facts about you?

Fun facts? :/ I see dead people .. lol sorry can’t think of any.

Interview with Amyscence

1.            Why did you start posting your works on Wattpad? And, how did you discover Wattpad?

I’ve always enjoyed writing, since I was very little. One of my friends had sent me a link to check out, it was a story on Wattpad and it was my first time reading an E-Book. I liked the book so I joined Wattpad! 😛

2.            How do you get the ideas for your stories? (are you influenced by anything or anyone)

Life inspires me. Music inspires me. YOU inspire me.

3.            What is your favourite part about writing? And what is your least favourite?

My favorite part is how you can escape the real world to go into your fantasy world, something you created and you are in control. It makes me feel better and it makes me feel happy. And the least I like about writing is “WRITERS BLOCK” Lol

4.            What is your favourite story that you have written and why?

Hm, I’m actually not sure lol. I hate picking favorites :l I love them all equally.

5.            Do any other authors influence your work/inspire you? If so, how do they inspire you?

I do not have any writer that inspires me. I look up to many though. I am my own inspiration.

6.            What is your favourite genre to write and why?

Romance and Fantasy. Romance because it’s so cute to write it! Fantasy because I’m addicted to it. I wish I could leave this terrible planet and go to wonderland!

7.            Is anything in your stories based on real life? (characters/plot/setting etc)

Kim is a real character, she’s my friend and she’s crazy like that too lol. All my stories are just part of my own fantasy world, characters are all part of me. Each of them represent something about me. The evil characters are my evil side, my romantic characters are part of my romantic side, ect…

8.            Does any music inspire you and what is it? Do you listen to music while you write? If so, what music?

I do! I always listen to music while I write. If a chapter I’m writing is sad, I like to listen to sad music lol. But I usually just listen to pop music, I love the sound of the beats. It makes me feel alive and emotional.

9.            Do you have any advice for new writers?

Don’t give up. That is the worst thing you could ever do. When I started wattpad, I started without any knowledge of writing. I wasn’t a good writer at all. I had so many mistakes but I didn’t give up just because I didn’t receive the recognition in the snap of a finger. I kept trying, I kept evolving, I grew and grew and eventually became a “good” writer. Now look where I am!

10.          Which of your characters is your favourite and why? Which is your least favourite and why?

Kim is my favorite. She’s crazy and fun to write lol. I don’t have a least favorite character. I love them all.

11.          If you could meet any fictional character, who would it be and why?

 Maximum from the Maximum Ride series. I would love for her to tell me her adventures and maybe go for a flight. (;

12.          If you could meet any person, dead or alive, who would it be?

Lady Gaga, I’m a super little monster. *Paws up*

13.          If you could be an animal for the day, what would you be, and why?

Cat! I wanna be a cat! D:< I wanna freaking stretch and act all cute. I want to fall off a building and land on my legs!

14.          Do you have any up-and-coming novels that you are planning?

I’m working on my first straight romance story called “Metamorphosis” And it will be very epic. It won’t be “normal” as people would say. It’s definitely out of this world. Literally. I will also be planning more boyxboy stories as they end. 🙂 I will never stop!

15.          If you could go anywhere with any of your characters, where would you go and why?

I’d love to take all my male characters into my bed (; LOL

16.          If you could do any three things, with no consequences, what would you do?

Slap the hell out of my sister. Take over the world. Then destroy it. Lol

17.          If you could have a superpower for the day what would it be and why?

The power of controlling weather. That is my favorite power of ALL! I love storm from X-MEN ❤ GAH I LOVE HER! 😀 I wish I really could have that power. It’s so freaking cool.

18.          Can you tell us some fun facts about you?

 I’m gay. I really. … really love men. Like…I love….men…

I like to swim and act like a mermaid when I’m in the water.

I’m a very passionate person when it comes to life and beautiful things.

I love music so much! I love pizza.

I like to sing even though I sound like a cat being dragged on a board full of razor blades.

I hate when people use labels on me, I have no label, I’m not emo dammit! Call me that and you will get smacked by me. I use dark fashion though. Just not emo. -.-

I like listening to music in other languages, I love trying to learn a song lol. I specially love the band Eisblume, who is a German band! 🙂 Beautiful sounds, it’s like the German Evanescence lol.

I want to become a director… I want to make movies! 😀 I want to bring my imagination to life. Maybe I will one day make one of my stories into a movie. 😛

I love the Shaytards, I wish they could adopt me. ;(

I’m turning 20 years old on December 1st…I’m old. But still sexy. ;D

I love fishies! THEY ARE SO ADORABLE! OMG ❤ And Unicorns I’M ADDICTED TO FREAKING UNICORNS!

19.          If you could make one wish, what would it be?

 To have more wishes.

Information

I didn’t know what to name this so I just called it information, which isn’t very creative… but I couldn’t think of anything else. It’s not much information, actually just one bit.

I won’t take interview requests. The only time I will take them when it is not a request to interview you. For example ‘Hey, could you interview ThisIsJustAnExample the writer of ‘The Trees that Grow in Anna’s Garden but Look Like Bananas’. Thanks’

There are many wattpad stories that are dedicated to requested interviews. So I’m sure if you ask them, they’ll say yes.

Thanks!

Interview with tianajade

This interview is with writer of the popular story ‘The Black Rose Killer’, which has over 200,000 reads, tianajade

1.            When did you decide that you wanted to start writing?

At the end of December 2010.

2.            What is your writing process?

Usually when a story idea comes to mind, I write it down in my journal or my phone, and then when it’s time to begin writing the story, I form the story idea into a plot, then make up the characters and the step by step of what will be happening in the story. For me, story ideas usually form pretty easily.

3.            Do you plan out your books, or just go with the flow?

I plan. For me, planning ahead is always best, otherwise I might miss things, or get carried away or forget something etc.

4.            Do you have a specific writing style?

I personally don’t think so, but my readers may have different opinions. (:

5.         Are experiences based on someone you know, or events in your own life?

Nope. Everything in my story is fictional. Although sometimes I add a little of my personality into a character, but other than that all the events and such that take place in my story(s) are fictional.

6.         Do you see writing as a career?

            No, I don’t. Just a hobby.

7.         Which of your characters is your favourite?

I like writing all my characters, but I think either Zoe (Keelea’s best friend) or Jace (Keelea’s love interest). They both have personalities that I love to write about! 🙂 One is bubbly and carefree and the other is cocky but also has a romantic side.

8.         What was the hardest part to write in your novels?

Probably when my main character was kidnaped and tortured by the serial killer. I had to jump into my character more than usual and imagine myself in her position so that I could explain all the descriptions and emotions to the best of my ability. I remember deleting and restarting that chapter many times, until finally it was something that I was proud of!

9.         Have you got any up-and-coming novels that you are planning?

Yes. I actually have many story ideas floating around in my head, written on my phone and in my journal, but I’m taking each story one step at a time. At the moment I am working on the sequel to ‘The Black Rose Killer’. If that story goes well, then I may begin writing one of my other story ideas (:

10.       How personal is your writing?

At the moment, not so personal. I once wrote a story that was very personal, and it didn’t do such a good job at the time, so I deleted it. Now I try and stay away from my writing being too personal.

11.       If you could work with any author who would it be?

Published authors? If so, then I would love to work with either Richelle Mead or Alexandra Adornetto.  I have many favourite authors, but these two are definitely some of the best!

12.       How did you come up with the titles?

For ‘The Black Rose Killer’; it just came to me as I began planning my plot. Considering the storyline, the title was pretty obvious. For the sequel, at the moment the title is still being decided. But my fans and readers have been helping me a lot, so it would be all thanks to them if I decide to choose one of their suggested titles! :’)

13.       Do you have any advice for other writers?

Just like I’ve stated a few times before, write for yourself, write how you want to write and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. It is helpful to receive constructive feedback, but you need to make sure that you stick to your own ideas and stick to the way you want to write, not the way someone else tells you to write. You are always going to get readers that will not agree or dislike something in your story – it happens. But you just need to keep in mind that it’s your story, you are the writer, and therefore no one else has a say in how your story goes. So stick to your guns and remember that you’re the one in charge of your story, no one else (:

14.       If you could have a meal with any of your characters, where would you take them and who would you take?

I would choose Xavier, because he’s a romantic…and he shares his food XD I don’t really care about fancy places, so I’d probably just take him to a nice, local restaurant or even – if the sun is out and it’s a nice warm day – on a picnic by the river surrounded by green grass, the trees, the water and the fresh air.

I better stop there, or I’ll get carried away…

15.       What was the funniest thing you have ever experienced?

Right this second off the top of my head I honestly can’t remember, but I know that just about every funny experience that took place in my life was with my cousin. Not one day went by that we didn’t laugh, do something funny or exciting. We were always making up games and generally having a blast with anything we could find! (:

16.       If you could meet anyone (dead or alive) who would it be and why?

Hmm. No one at the moment I don’t think.

17.       What are 3 things that you would like to do before you die?

A lot of the things I want to achieve/do before I die are personal, so I won’t state those. I’ll state three less personal, although they’re not at the top of my ‘to-do list’. 1: I would love to travel Australia and take photographs of this amazing country! 2: Bungee Jumping; I’ve always wanted to do that! And 3: Rescue as many endangered animals as possible.

18.       If you could slap one book character, who would it be?

I’ve read so many books, and there are so many characters I’d love to slap. But just one would be…Ever from The Immortals series by Alyson Noel. I don’t like her character; she’s always making the wrong decisions and I can never feel her love for Damen. I would love to slap her silly and shake some sense into that character XD

19.       What’s the most embarrassing thing that you’ve ever experienced?

Believe it or not, I haven’t had many embarrassing moments happen to me. But one semi-embarrassing moment that I can think of would be the time when I was in class, and everyone was silent and listening to the teacher, or doing their work, and suddenly I fell off my chair – because I was leaning on it – and the whole close erupted in fits of laughter. It was the talk of the school for weeks. -.-

20.       Can you tell us some fun facts about you?

I really don’t like talking about myself much XD
I don’t think I have any fun facts about me. Some just general facts would be:

1: I love to clean.

2: I love to listen to music from the 50’s to the 80’s.

3: I love animals, and I will fall in love with every one that I come across.

4: I’m currently in love with Peach Iced-Tea.

5: I’m obsessed with Sims.

6: I get too attached to characters in my favourite stories.

7: I’ve been home-schooled for three years.

8: I’m probably the shyest person ever. But once people get to know me, and I come out of my shell, I never shut-up and I’m a bit of a handful 😉

I’m not very interesting, I know. xD

Interview with ACRL37

This interview is with writer of stories such as All I’ve Never Wanted, ACRL37

1. Why did you start posting your works on Wattpad? And, how did you discover Wattpad?

I’ve always loved writing but I’ve never shared my stories with anyone else before Wattpad, which I found through good ol’ Google =) Initially, my major reason for posting it here was for greater motivation in finishing my books, but I also put them up online hoping others have as much reading them as I do writing them.

2. How did you get popular on Wattpad?

I’m popular? =O Lol. Honestly I’m not sure, although I owe all my success so far to my absolutely amazing fans and readers! They’re seriously incredible, and I guess a little bit of luck doesn’t hurt either haha.

3. How do you get the ideas for your stories? (are you influenced by anything or anyone)

Most of the ideas for my stories come from personal experiences (such as If We Ever Meet Again) or through my interpretation of other books, movies, and TV shows (like All I’ve Never Wanted). As for the characters, a lot of them are based on my friends! I have to thank them for giving me some of the more interesting lines in my stories lol.

4. What is your favourite part about writing? And what is your least favourite?

Hmm…my favorite part would have to be receiving feedback from readers, whether positive or negative. My least favorite is writer’s block–oh, how I despise thee.

5. What is your favourite story that you have written and why?

This is a hard question to answer..I love both the stories I have up so far, but I would have to say I enjoy If We Ever Meet Again a smidgen more. That one revolves a lot around my own experiences and so it’s a bit closer to my heart.

6. Do any other authors influence your work/inspire you? If so, how do they inspire you?

I get inspired by all the books I read, honestly, but if I had to choose one I would have to say…Nicholas Sparks. I am a huge sucker for romance and I love how he can portray emotions and relationships so well. I can feel everything the characters are feeling, and he inspires me to try and wave that same kind of emotion into my own story.

7. What is your favourite genre to write and why?

Romance! I love reading romance, and I find most stories boring if they don’t have at least a dash of it in there somewhere. I also like writing it though, because I can relate to it more than other genres.

8. Is anything in your stories based on real life? (characters/plot/setting etc)

Over half of If We Ever Meet Again is based on real life–the characters and setting definitely are, and the plot is too, to an extent.

9. Does any music inspire you and what is it? Do you listen to music while you write? If so, what music?

Definitely. Music is a huge, huge part of my writing. In fact, at the start of every chapter for both my stories, I put in lyrics relevant to that particular section. The title for If We Ever Meet Again is actually named after the Katy Perry & Timbaland song, which I think has the same nostalgic feel I want the book to have. The music I listen to depends on the mood of the part I’m working on though. I listen to slow songs for sad parts, club songs for party scenes, etc.

10. Do you have any advice for new writers?

I would just encourage new writers to write about what they want to write about. Original, cliche, it doesn’t matter, as long as you’re doing it for yourself and not popularity or because other people tell you to. Also, take constructive criticism but stay true to your own vision for your story.

11. Which of your characters is your favourite and why? Which is your least favourite and why?

Hmm..for favorite, it’s a tie between Farrah from If We Ever Meet Again, who is strong but not unrealistically so but who also has her flaws, and the grandma from All I’ve Never Wanted. She’s not a major character but she is so funny and easy to write haha. My least favorite? Erm..Maya’s dad from All I’ve Never Wanted. He is a bit of a douche, for reasons I shall not reveal here in case people haven’t read up to that part.

12. If you could meet any fictional character, who would it be and why?

I’m probably going to get a lot of flack from Twilight fans for this, but Bella Swan so I can give that girl a good knock in the head and scream at her for making me so bad. I like the books but she is seriously annoying.

13. If you could meet any person, dead or alive, who would it be?

Cleopatra! My favorite historical figure ever. Not only is she a legend, but she was absolutely brilliant and able to survive against all odds (until the end, anyway). I think she would be one of the most interesting dinner companions ever.

14. If you could be an animal for the day, what would you be, and why?

A lion. It’s my favorite animal, they’re feared by almost all other animals, and I wouldn’t mind being king (or rather, queen) of the jungle for a day =p

15. Do you have any up-and-coming novels that you are planning?

Oh god yes, I have so many ideas floating through my head I don’t know what to start first. However, I’m not going to post anything new until I finish the two stories I’m working on now.

16. If you could go anywhere with any of your characters, where would you go and why?

Umm…I would probably go to Italy. Mainly because I’ve always loved Italy, but also because I am in love with a few of my male characters so I’m hoping those romantic Italian cities will work their magic lol.

17. If you could do any three things, with no consequences, what would you do?

Grab everything I want from stores without paying (although I would feel bad), pig out on all my favorite foods no matter how fattening they are, and go skydiving, which I would never actually do because I am deathly afraid of heights and the painful death that will follow should the whole jumping-out-of-an-airplane scenario goes wrong.

18. If you could have a superpower for the day what would it be and why?

Teleportation, so I can go anywhere in the world without jet lag, airplane food, or having to pay for a ticket. Also, if I get in trouble for whatever reason, I bet they can’t catch me =p

19. Can you tell us some fun facts about you?

Fun facts..hmm. Well, my favorite time to eat ice cream is when it’s freezing cold outside, I think cats are really cute even though some of them are pure evil, I can never be an astronaut because I am terrified of outer space, and for some reason I can list all 50 states in the US in alphabetical order off the top of my head. I don’t know how, but I can.

Interview with bellasonline

Interview with writer of ‘The DEAL’, bellasonline , is what this one is.

1.            Why did you start posting your works on Wattpad? And, how did you discover Wattpad?

I don’t know. I think I just wanted at least two or three persons to read my work. Writing and saving it seemed simply pointless to me and I want to check what people think about my works without exposing me to the world openly.

I discovered Wattpad on my mobile services while searching for some software to download. Instead I found a freaking world full of dreams and romances and fantasies. I love Wattpad so much and I am addicted to it now.

2.            How did you get popular on Wattpad?

Did I even get popular? I mean I am not at all popular on Wattpad, but people considered me somewhat a little after my story %The DEAL%. So if that’s about recognition, it’s after this story.

3.            How do you get the ideas for your stories? (are you influenced by anything or anyone)

I get them so randomly while doing something completely pointless. During night when struggling to sleep, during lectures completely annoyed by droning words of teachers, during a completely tired day and sometimes when I was asleep. My dreams are always so fanciful that it sometimes gives me idea of my stories.  And I will simply make them up after that one interesting story line.

4.            What is your favourite part about writing? And what is your least favourite?

I always love to write about cheerful days. I love writing about two persons who are so in love kissing in cheeks and holding hands… Awee I always smile whenever I read those lines and think about how cute they are looking, not only in my stories, but on everyone’s.

I hate writing about separating the lovers or hurting them just because my readers would find it had lot of action. I mostly avoid writing that anyways. And if I did, I would be blaming me continuously. I love romance without pain. I want to write one but still sometimes pains make life better and tougher!

5.            What is your favourite story that you have written and why?

It’s my first story, ‘A day in my death bed,’ and I love it because that’s my first story and that had given me hope that I could write a story too. I was completely devastated when my three stories along with this one were erased when my system was being formatted.

6.            Do any other authors influence your work/inspire you? If so, how do they inspire you?

I love many other authors in Wattpad, but they don’t inspire me. I admire their works, but I never try to make use of it on my stories. I love to make my characters by myself and I love to write on my own way. If anyone who have inspired me a lot, it is my awesome readers and their comments and yes I started writing when I read a story on internet. She was my first motivation, but I am sorry I did not remember her name.

7.            What is your favourite genre to write and why?

Romance and humor mostly. To fall in love with someone mysterious and endearing is every girl’s dreams, aren’t they? So I love to make a girl fall for that one boy for her and make him fall for her in the end by one way or other. Cuz I hate sad endings. I can’t see myself in pains and tears like that in the end, so why do I do that to my characters??

And humor because I love to laugh. I love to make someone laugh. When I read some stories through my dreary day and if that make me laugh, won’t I be thankful? I am always being thankful to such stories. I want people to laugh and say ‘She made my day,’ or at least ‘She can write ok to make me laugh,’

8.            Is anything in your stories based on real life? (characters/plot/setting etc)

Characters- maybe sometimes. Plot- nothing but fictitious.

My characters are sometimes based on how I want to be and what I want for me. In most of my stories I have written, the main characters would have a brother, because I seriously yearned to have one. My characters are like me, sometimes crazy, sometimes emotional, sometimes touchy and teary, and sometimes rude but honest; my characters love things what I love and they are not entirely me, but ME somewhere. And some side characters are based on my friends’ behaviors and habits.

Most of my characters are sleepy head and they hate waking up in the morning, well because I am the laziest person in the whole universe and I hate mornings. And they always hate studying because, I hate studying with burning passion and how I get passed, Well I never understand.

9.            Does any music inspire you and what is it? Do you listen to music while you write? If so, what music?

Music makes my world. I love hearing anything which can make me forget who I am and where I am, which brings me through another world and which melts me from head to toe. I love Jonas brothers, Zain Bikha, Taylor Swift, Chris Daughtry, Owl city, Rascal Flatts, Backstreet boys, Forever the sickest kids, AKON etc. Ok I hear almost everything and anything…..

10.          Do you have any advice for new writers?

I am still new. But all I wanted to say is: Write whatever you like. Don’t change what you have planned just because someone telling you to change it or they will stop reading your stories (I have many comments on my story like that and I will simply say ‘Thank You’ to them, because all I care about is that one single reader who like my story for what I write, I can’t make every single soul satisfied, right? *SIGH* sometimes it is irritating to hear them tell ‘I don’t think I am going to read your story anymore CUZ …………….,’ ‘I am going to remove yours from my library’ ‘Why can’t you just give her makeovers?’ If you have so many ideas, why don’t you just write your own story instead trying to make my stories yours?)  A person who can’t read what you write is not worth changing your ideas. Just write what you want to. PLEASE…

11.          Which of your characters is your favourite and why? Which is your least favourite and why?

My most favorite character is: Karen from ‘MUTED’. I love her boldness and her determination to live her lives though she had faced every troubles and pains in her life. I admire her will and strength when she trying not to break out completely. I also love Nick from my story ‘PALEST MEMORIES OF LIFE’. He was that one boy for whom any girl would die for and I love him because he was loyal, honest, caring and most gentle and best male character ever in my stories. Love him so much…

12.          If you could meet any fictional character, who would it be and why?

                Don’t know…

13.          If you could meet any person, dead or alive, who would it be?

                A LOT…

14.          If you could be an animal for the day, what would you be, and why?

I would love to be a butterfly… Ooh you asked animal… Then I would be a polar bear. I love snows… They were freaking amazing and I was yearning so bad for them, since my country is sunny mostly without snows…

15.          Do you have any up-and-coming novels that you are planning?

Yes, about a girl without family and a rich boy, not yet named I don’t know it yet…

16.          If you could go anywhere with any of your characters, where would you go and why?

Umm, with Jake and Kris to Hadaka, I mean I want to see were-wolves and their magic skills. They could even turn me in to unicorn by their magic, maybe…?!    And I would meet Liana and shout some sense into her brain. I mean she had to take the deal thing seriously, right? I would pick her up to every shopping mall around in the universe even if I could find one on MARS… Just wishing…. It’s not wrong, right?

If it’s not from my story, then I want to go to Rutherford Mansion to meet Vincent, Joel, Sebastian and all of them. I love vamps…….. and I love Vivi too much 😉 who couldn’t right?

17.          If you could do any three things, with no consequences, what would you do?

                1. I would throw eggs at the teachers I hate more, lol, I would love to. \hey I am not a bad guy…

2. I would puncture anyone’s car, just to see their face 🙂

3. I would eat a whole day- ice-creams and chocolates…

18.          If you could have a superpower for the day what would it be and why?

To fly. I love to see the mars and moon and I wanted to travel throughout the world including the frozen parts….

19.          Can you tell us some fun facts about you?

FUN? I am not funny. But: I would fall asleep whenever my teachers start to speak, I love to fight with my little brother and make him cry, I would eat during lectures, I will battle everyday while getting up in the morning for college…  And I would cry and yell if I read a story which is too emotional and sad and I would laugh alone when it’s hilarious… that’s all…

Thank you XSmileforthecameraX

And if anyone of you are reading my story, thank you too… you all are my strength…

Interview with Vicky_Nfs

This interview with with writer vicky_nfs.

1.        When did you decide that you wanted to start writing?

That wasn’t too long ago, actually. If I remember correctly, it was sometime during February last year. Up until that very moment, it had never even crossed my mind to write my own story. I’ve always been an avid reader, at least, ever since I was about 12 years old, but never did I do as much as even think of making a story of my own.

It’s by discovering Wattpad that I noticed how so many ‘normal’ people wrote stories, that I decided to give it a try as well. I’ve always had the most random and vivid dreams and it was after one of those funny dreams that I decided to write it down. The dream involved my little brother and I wanted to remember the dream perfectly for when I was about to tell it to him. But, soon enough, I added some fictive characters, fictive events and that was the beginning of my very first story.

I still don’t know why I started to write in English though, because that isn’t my first language. But, for some unknown reason, it works better for me this way.

2.        What is your writing process?

It all starts with an idea, a concept or a very basic storyline. Sometimes it starts with a dream, as cliché as it may sound, but it’s the truth. When I have an idea of what the story will be like, I just let the creative part of my brain do the rest. It doesn’t work for me to sit down and write an entire outlining of a story. No. Most of the times I come up with events, scenes and ideas in a more subconscious way. I won’t intend to think about the story but then randomly, ideas will pop into my head. Then I work those into the outlining/planning of my story and little by little, the storyline gets completed.

When I know what will happen, I start to write – really write. And, I can do that anywhere. I don’t have a specific place where I write. It all depends, somehow I find it easier to write on my bed, other times I can only focus while sitting at my desk, at the living room table, on the floor, outside…

Something else I tend to do before I start to write, is listen to music that I somehow associated to the story I’m about to write. Or, I watch certain movies, tv series or even read books that have to do with the story I’m working on. I always find that extra inspiring and motivating.

3.        Do you plan out your books, or just go with the flow?

It’s not that I sit down and plan my storyline. At least not as in sitting at a desk, deciding what scenes would make for a good story.

The ideas for a story come to me, at random, and then I’ll put those ideas in order so I know what will happen when I really start to write the story. When I’m writing, I need to know where the story is going, towards what events I need to work, etc… But, of course I have lots of scenes and events that slip into the story, even though I didn’t think of them before that moment.

But yes, to me it is important to have the very basics of my story and only then I can write it.

4.        Do you have a specific writing style?

I’m not quite sure what you mean by writing style, but I find it easier to write in a first person perspective. I know you have to keep your readers as oblivious to certain details as your main character, your narrator, but personally I don’t like to know everything when I’m reading a book either. You can add more detail and information in your story when you use third person, but I love to try and make the reader see ‘the world’ the way my main character does.  The main character may not always have a 100% accurate view on what’s happening in the story, but it makes it more ‘real’ to me.

Also, I prefer to write my stories in the past tense. I have no idea why that is, but I struggle whenever I try to write a story in the present tense.

In general, I just really want the readers to feel what my characters feel, that’s why I try to write my stories in such a way that the reader is able to know what my characters are going through, what they feel, think, want in life…

5.        Are experiences based on someone you know, or events in your own life?

In a certain way there are definitely ‘real’ things mixed up in the story. I think it’s inevitable for real experiences to end up in your story, even if it’s only characteristics of people in real life, your view on the world, and other simple things like that. None of my stories are biographic though, but certain things are based upon real life events, although they’re most likely altered to fit the story in a better way.

All in all, I find that adding small bits and pieces of real life to your story while writing, will make it seem more realistic to people. It’s easier to write about the things you know (be it feelings, events, people,…) and I’m convinced that the readers of a book prefer characters and events they can identify themselves with. It doesn’t necessarily have to be possible for the story to happen in reality, but even the most surreal and illogical events can be written in such a way that they make the reader feel as though it could happen, that it could be real. Personally, I think this is very important in order for the readers to be able to identify themselves with the characters.

6.        Do you see writing as a career?

In all honesty, writing is still so new to me, especially since I had a hard time seeing myself as a writer – but I think I’ve finally come to peace with it – that I’ve only recently begun to wonder what it would feel like to have one of my stories published.

Writing is a career like any other, but I think I’ll keep it as a hobby. If I ever get any of my stories published, it would definitely be nice, but at this very moment I don’t think I’ll ever be willing to give up all the endless hours of studying and exams to become a psychologist just so I could make a full time career out of writing. Nonetheless, it will definitely make for an enjoyable pastime.

7.        Which of your characters is your favourite?

So far,  I’ve had fun writing all of them I think. But if I really have to chose one, I think I’d go for Hunter in Absolute Contamination. I loved his carefree attitude, yet, even though he seemed to lose it every once and a while, he always acted to protect Keara.

However, there are still so many characters in my future projects that haven’t really been developed yet, at least not entirely, so I’m sure that there will be many more, and different, ‘favorite’ characters in the future.

8.        How do you deal with negative comments?

I haven’t had to deal with a lot of negative comments yet, but I think the first thing I do is re-read the comment, just to make sure I didn’t read it wrong the first time, and then I keep my fingers crossed that I’ll find someone to vent about it.

Once that’s done, I try not to think about it too much and give it a few hours, or even a couple of days before I go over the comments again to see if what the person said could be true. It’s never fun to read negative comments, but they do help to look at your work from a different perspective, and maybe by doing that you can find a couple of flaws that can be corrected or improved.

Everyone has the right to his/her own opinion, and I don’t think that you should let other people read your work when you can’t take a negative comment. However, I’m not saying that mean comments should be allowed, definitely not, but it certainly helps when you can see the positive aspects of a negative comment…if that even makes sense.

9.        What was the hardest part to write in your novels?

The bad and sad stuff. I hate it when bad things happen in books, and I’ll always blame the author for making me feel bad. So, when I’m writing sad scenes in my own stories, I always feel like I’m betraying the readers and myself. It takes a lot of mental conversations with myself in which I justify the events I’m about to write, before I’m able to actually write them.

Out of everything I’ve written so far, there was one scene I struggled with the most. I don’t want to spoil anything for who hasn’t read the story yet, but the scene I’m talking about takes place in the tenth chapter of  Absolute Contamination. I dreaded having to write that part of the story, and when I finally did, I cried my eyes out. It even got to the point where I had to step away from my laptop and do something else to distract myself. It’s not easy to write when you can’t see your screen through the tears.

10.     Have you got any up-and-coming novels that you are planning?

I have several stories I’m working on – some more actively than others, but in the end I hope to be able to finish them all sometime in the (near) future.

I’m still trying to figure out which genres I prefer to write, so the stories I’m working on are all a different genre. I have a teen fiction, a paranormal one, a more mystery/suspense one and even a story that involves aliens. I’m equally excited to work on each and every single one of them, which makes it rather hard to decide which story will be the next I’ll focus on.

11.     How personal is your writing?

It’s personal in a way that I still don’t feel comfortable showing it to the people I know in ‘real life’, but I don’t seem to have any problem with it that so many people are reading my stories online.

Maybe it’s the fact that I’m afraid those people I know in real life will ‘analyze’ my work and look for hidden meanings. Perhaps I’m the only one who does that to other people’s work, but still, I wouldn’t want anyone to come to the wrong conclusions and be offended by anything I wrote.

 12.     If you could work with any author who would it be?

I’m not really sure. There are so many wonderful authors out there who each have something I admire in their writing, so maybe I shouldn’t just stick to one author but have some sort of an authors convention where you can work with as many authors as you want to, to share ideas and techniques, views on writing, readers, and all those things.

Some authors I’d love to meet there would be Carrie Ryan, Suzanne Collins, Richelle Mead, Simone Elkeles, Cassandra Clare, Markus Zusak,…

13.     How did you come up with the titles?

Would it sound too easy if I said that they came to me? Because that would be nothing but the truth. So far, all the titles I’ve come up with for my books have never needed a lot of consideration. Usually I have an idea of what I want the title to be and then I make a list of different titles that would fit the story. When that’s done, I leave the titles for a bit and a couple of days later there’ll definitely be one title that stands out from the others.

The titles I use are plain obvious to me. It’s like it’s only logical to use them as titles. Mostly they have something to do with the storyline, but then again, isn’t that the case with most book titles?

14. Do you have any advice for other writers?

Keep on writing? No really, if you truly enjoy writing, then don’t give up on it. Also, if you aren’t too afraid to do it, post your work online. When people comment about it, or when you find out people recommend your work to other people, it is such a motivation to keep doing what you’re doing. However, make sure you keep on writing for yourself and not for others. The moment you realize you’re only writing because other people seem to pressure you into doing it, you won’t enjoy it as much anymore. So, keep on writing, and most of all, keep on writing for yourself.

15.     If you could have a meal with any of your characters, where would you take them and who would you take?

Who would I take? I’m not sure actually. Maybe Mylor, the alien from the alien story I’m working on. I mean, if he could take me to his home planet that would be cool. Maybe their food wouldn’t be too bad either? Maybe I’d just have to bring some mac and cheese with me, just to make sure…

16.     What was the funniest thing you have ever experienced?

Why is it that whenever you ‘have to’ remember these things, you can’t think of any? There are lots and lots of times when I cried from laughing so hard, but right now I can’t remember any of those moments.

Although, the first thing that comes to mind…

When we went to Prague, with school, my friend and I were seated on a bench at some plaza of sorts. But, we had to share the bench with some people we didn’t know. We may have said some embarrassing things and maybe even some not so nice things about the person who sat next to us, because we assumed no one would understand us anyway. However, shortly after, two people came to talk to that person next to us, and turns out he spoke the same language as us… What are the odds?

17.     If you could meet anyone (dead or alive) who would it be and why?

I have absolutely no idea. No really, just like the previous question, this is one those questions that are so difficult to answer. At least, that’s the case for me.

If I really could pick anyone and it didn’t have to be anyone famous or anything, I would chose Emma and Lisa. I think it would be nice to be able to have a real conversation for once, rather than having to struggle with the different time zones we all live in.

Then again, maybe I wouldn’t mind meeting my future self either. To get some tips on what (not) to do? However, maybe that would be considered cheating…

18.     What are 3 things that you would like to do before you die?

Live a long and happy life? Yes, that would definitely be one of those things. Then, I would also love to make a trip around the world and meet up with all the people I know but that I have yet to meet in real life. And lastly, I would love to see the Earth rise while sitting in a comfy chair on the Moon while listening to some good music and drinking a nice hot cup of coffee.

19.     If you could slap one book character, who would it be?

I think that there is at least one character in each book that deserves to get slapped. Whether it is for making the wrong decisions, being oblivious to the obvious or simply for being an annoying person…everyone deserves to be slapped from time to time.

20.     Can you tell us some fun facts about you?

I love glow in the dark stars. I love my toothpaste to be extra ‘fresh’. I love soup. I love taking things literally and enjoy it even more when it annoys people. To me, a book is good when I can’t put it down until I’ve read the very last word of it. When I don’t have any problem putting a book down while reading, that’s usually a sign that I’ll never finish it. I’m not a big fan of chocolate. Sticky notes are my best friends. I’m organized messy. I love sleep. When I write, I spend most of the time with my eyes closed, just so I can visualize the scenes I’m writing. I hate the smell of freshly mown grass or the smell outside right after it rained. I’m not a big fan of lightning. I love to give people my opinion. I don’t like to be wrong. I have a collection of empty Fanta cans because at one point in time I was surprised to see just how many different tastes there were, so I kept the cans and now I have more than thirty of them, I think. I need to listen to music when I have a headache. I used to collect (clean!) toilet paper. I love to go to concerts. But most of all, and despite the fact that I’m more of a listener, I tend to talk too much.

Interview with Zerin23

This interview is with writer Zerin23.

1.            Why did you start posting your works on Wattpad? And, how did you discover Wattpad?

I was looking for stories to read online and I came across Wattpad. I loved reading the stories and a while I decided to write stories of my own.

2.            How did you get popular on Wattpad?

I really have no idea how I did. Well, I’m not exactly popular right now seeing as i haven’t uploaded in a long time (and I’m sorry about that to all my fans).

3.            How do you get the ideas for your stories? (are you influenced by anything or anyone)

I normally just have an idea and I just write the first few chapters based on the idea. I continue on the story as new ideas come to me so I don’t really have a fixed ending in my mind.

4.            What is your favourite part about writing? And what is your least favourite?

My favourite part is the feeling that I can actually do something that others enjoy. The least favourite is when I’m stuck with my writing, it really annoys me.

5.            What is your favourite story that you have written and why?

I think “meeting my family & the others” is my fave out of the ones I wrote because well I think it’s more different … although there are heaps of stories like that in Wattpad. If things do happen as it happens in the book, things would be very emotional.

6.            Do any other authors influence your work/inspire you? If so, how do they inspire you?

I wouldn’t say the other writers influence my work because I try not to make my stories like theirs or copy their style. It does however, makes me want to write when I read a story I like a lot. The writers that I love the most in Wattpad are: xoStardust .. XxSkater2Girl16xX … DarknessAndLight and SidneyArden … there’s many more but that’s my top four.

7.            What is your favourite genre to write and why?

I love writing romantic books if that’s what you mean.

8.            Is anything in your stories based on real life? (characters/plot/setting etc)

No, all my stories are fiction.

9.            Does any music inspire you and what is it? Do you listen to music while you write? If so, what music?

I listen to music like all the time, when I’m reading, when I’m writing etc. My music depends on my mood so if I’m happy I would be listening to happy music. The music helps me to concentrate, strangely. It just acts as background music while I write. I mostly listen to r&b, house or techno 🙂

10.          Do you have any advice for new writers?

my advice to new writers is that just write what you want to write and don’t feel discouraged because you think people wouldn’t like your writing, I feel like that all the time,  yet somehow some people end up liking it. Also, don’t rush the events in your stories because then everything happens too quickly (I have done that and I don’t like the end result).

11.          Which of your characters is your favourite and why? Which is your least favourite and why?

My most favourite character from my stories would be the Scott Brennan from “Why Do I Love Him”. He’s very over protective and if I had him for a brother I would be annoyed as hell, but I think it’s sweet he cares so much about his sister that he doesn’t want to risk Kate being hurt at all. I hate Stacy McIntosh from “Meeting My Family & The Others” well because she’s the town’s b*tch .. I don’t have much on her but I’m planning on bringing her up more often.

12.          If you could meet any fictional character, who would it be and why?

I would meet Jacob Black from Twilight because well who wouldn’t? I love the guy 😀

13.          If you could meet any person, dead or alive, who would it be?

 TAYLOR LAUTNER!!

14.          If you could be an animal for the day, what would you be, and why?

I would be a dolphin because I love them 🙂

15.          Do you have any up-and-coming novels that you are planning?

Not really, I already have three stories and I’m having trouble uploading 😛 so no new stories anytime soon

16.          If you could go anywhere with any of your characters, where would you go and why?

I would go to Paris and shop .. I love shopping =]

17.          If you could do any three things, with no consequences, what would you do?

End up in jail (don’t ask why, I just always wanted to get in .. weird I know) I can’t really think of any others right now 😦

18.          If you could have a superpower for the day what would it be and why?

Being invisible because I would be able to do anything without being noticed

19.          Can you tell us some fun facts about you?

Ummm, there’s nothing really fun about me LOL but I guess I can add some facts: I seem very emotionless to people but I’m very emotional inside … people just think I’m a b*tch as soon as they see me – rude – but I’m not a b*tch -.-
